Date Night with Yours Clothing

Now that I'm a working woman my wardrobe needs to be more geared towards items of clothes I can mix and match. I've too many pairs of ripped jeans and oversized T-shirts and not enough of "nice" clothes to take me from work to the bar etc. etc. Yours Clothing came to my rescue a few weeks ago and sent me this beautiful top, and I've worn it a few times already! A testimony really as I like to play favourites with my clothes!
This Sheer Dip Back Shirt* is the perfect addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe. I paired this for a casual date night look. It's sheer so it's a little bit sexy, without giving too much away. I'm a sucker for floral prints so this was obviously my top of choice. I'm wearing a size 16 and it's a good fit. If you're between sizes I'd suggest sizing down as it's nice and flowy. If you were to wear it for work I'd pair it with slim trousers and just slip on a little tank top underneath as it is quite sheer.
I paired it with these jeans from trusty Penney's. If you're in between sizes and they're the best place to shop. They're cheap as chips at €13 for a pair of skinnies, that are actually skinny. I'm wearing the 14 here and they fit nice and snug. I like my jeans tight, it gives my non-existent arse a bit of a lift! I have a few pairs of these and they wash well. They're not as good or as stretchy as my favourite Topshop jeans, but they're not bad either! Yours Clothing also do some great jeans. They're a nice fit but with plenty of stretch to keep you comfortable. I have this pair:Indigo Blue Stretch Jeans that I wore to death until they became too big!
I love the High-Low cut of this top. Now I do think the High-Low has been done to death now over the past 5 years, and think it should be laid to rest for the most part but this top is so pretty and the slight gradual back just gives the top something a bit different and makes it perfect and flirty for a date night. For accessories I of course threw on a statement necklace and threw on some flats. I think for a casual date night flats are perfect. You'll be comfortable the whole night and if you end up going to the cinema after dinner you won't feel over dressed!

The Body Shop | Virgin Mojito Range

Just in time for Summer - Ireland do you hear that? The Body Shop has recently launched a Summer collection called "Virgin Mojito". I'm a fan of all sorts of Mojito's so I was thrilled to get my grubby mitts on some of the collection. It's the perfect scent for Summer and has be excited for going away- when that will be God only knows ;) On first sniff I was instantly transported to the beach, sipping a cocktail and watching the sun go down. This uplifting energising fragrance is all you need for Summer. This legitimately smells like a Mojito just minus the sugary scent. If you're a lover of Mojito like me, then keep reading!
Body Scrub*
I love a good body scrub. I suffer a lot with dry skin and I'm always looking for something that grabs my attention. This was the first product I used and it was a great introduction to the range. I let the shower warm up and I scrub myself pretty much head to toe. I find using this on dry skin gives you a stronger effect. If you've got sensitive skin, I'd try using it in the shower on wet skin. After I'm suitably scrubbed I hop into the shower and wash it off. My skin was left a little bit red but that's no biggie, all in all my skin was left nice and soft and ready for some Body Butter to be applied.
Body Butter
If you're acquainted with the Body Shop, then you're acquainted with their Body Butters. They've been a staple in my beauty stash for many, many years. Many other's have come and gone, but none keep me interested as much as these ones. They make your skin feel like a baby's bum and they all smell amazing. This particular body butter is definitely going to be my go to during the Summer. It's zesty, rich and deeply nourishing. I love to bang  this on after the shower and go to bed and I wake up with the softest skin known to man! The scent really pulls me in though. You're transported back to holiday's and let's face it, who doesn't want that?
Body Sorbet*
Okay first things first. This is NOT a shower gel. It's a body sorbet. Last week I was getting ready for work and I grabbed it and hopped into the shower, not thinking too much in my sleepy morning haze. It didn't lather as much as my normal shower gel, but it made my skin smell amazing so I thought nothing of it. I later found out that it wasn't a shower gel, but a moisturiser. It's a good thing I'm not a regular beauty blogger! Anyway this is the perfect product to pack for your holiday's. It's light, sinks into your skin quickly and again leaves your skin smelling incredible. It's a funny consistency for a moisturiser but it would be incredibly refreshing after a long day out in the sun.

If you're a lover of fresh fragrances then check out The Body Shop - But hurry it's a limited collection. I'll fight you off for that scrub!

Irish Day Tours |The Cliffs of Moher

The great thing about travelling is the people you meet. I met the lovely Mallory (Check out her fantastic travel blog here) in Australia and when she told me she was coming to Ireland, I was excited! We booked a tour to take her to the Cliff's of Moher on Thursday and boy did we have fun. We booked our tour with Irish Day Tours.

I met Mallory at the ungodly hour of 6.30, armed with my backpack and a bag full of Irish snacks to keep us going throughout the day. I felt like a right Irish Mammy. We hopped on the bus and chatted for yonks about our Contiki trip and had a good 'ol laugh! It's great catching up with people who were there and experienced the same thing. Anyway we got settled in on the bus and it left reasonably on time and it was out of the city and into the countryside...
First stop Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall. I'm already acquainted with this gem as it's about 25km from my Grandparents in Tipperary. We stopped for a quick bathroom break and we stocked up on some snacks for the road! We stopped off in Limerick for about 15 minutes to see views of King Johns Castle and also stopped at the Treaty Stone you can get an insight into the Irish/English battle. Our tour guide Liam was very informative coming into Limerick and kept us alert and engaged telling us some stories of the battles between Ireland and England. It was a brief stop, but it wasn't the main attraction of the tour. It was back onto the bus were me and Mallory got stuck into some snacks and headed towards the beautiful Cliff of Moher. We both dozed off for awhile and were woken up when we got to Doolin.

We arrived at the cliffs about around 11.30. We wrapped up in layers as it was typically Irish weather. It was windy and a bit cloudy but we made the most of it and headed towards the main attraction. It's jam packed full of tourists but we walked a bit farther afield so we could enjoy the cliffs. Now I can 100% understand why they are a tourist attraction here in Ireland, even when the weather is kind of shite, it's still beautiful, breathtaking actually, but I'll let the photo's do the talking on this one... .
After an hour and a half, we walked back to the bus and after waiting for a good 20 minutes for the rest of the bus to come back (seriously we were on a bus tour the whole way down Australia and only a handful of times people were late and that was late by like maximum 5 minutes. Although you did have a forfeit if you were late and that was to eat some Vegemite so that may of persuaded folks to be on time!) Anyway we eventually made our way to Doolin for a spot of lunch in Fitzpatricks Pub. Mallory had a beef pie and I went for the roast turkey. After being substantially stuffed we went back on the bus. We again drove for about 15 minutes we stopped off again at the Burren for a few photo opportunities!

After the Burren we made our way to the 12th Century Corcomroe Abbey. The sun began to shine and our tour guide gave us some interesting facts about the Abbey. Mallory even got a photo of a skull! Corcomroe Abbey is still being used with the last burial only being about 6 weeks ago. It's so old and beautiful, it's hard to believe that it's still being used to this day. We were then free to have a quick look around, got some photo ops and then it was back on the bus. Me and Mallory felt like we were back on Contiki! It was then onto a nice little surprise a chocolate factory. We arrived at Hazel Mountain Chocolate and I was literally like Augustus Gloop! It's an award winning Irish Chocolate factory and after having a little taste I can understand why!
We then made our way for our last stop of the tour which is the beautiful Dungaire Castle located in Kinvara. We got some lovely photo's and enjoyed the sun that has popped out to say hello again! We had about 20 minutes to have a look around, which was more than enough time to see it and to stretch our legs before the long drive home. We took some funny pictures and then got back on the bus and cuddled up with Mallory's blanket. I brought some Irish snack foods for us to snack on and we both fell into a sugar induced coma, only waking up in Einfield when Liam kindly offered to stop the bus for a few of us that needed to use the bathroom and get some snacks for the last leg home. I want to add that the bus is comfortable and is very nap worthy!

We arrived back in Dublin city centre about 8pm and we were suitably wrecked to say the least. It was a great day, and as a tourist for a day I can't recommend Irish Day Tours enough. Sure I'd of liked to spend longer in places, but if you only have a day to see some of Ireland this tour will give you the general jist of the area and some of the Irish culture!

Prices are €45 for adults, €40 for students and €22.50 for kids aged between 5 and 15. Under 5 go free.

What I Wore: Topshop Ripped Jeans (Surprise,Surprise)

Another outfit post featuring the only item of clothing I seem to own, my Topshop ripped Jamie Jeans. I've recently purchased another pair as these ones are getting too big, so now I'll have two to alternate instead of washing these 3 times a week! I've even dried the bigger size in the dryer of doom that shrinks my clothes and they came out that nice and tight again, so I can get hopefully another month out of them. If anyone wants them just get in touch. They're a size 16, true to size with tons of stretch!
I wore this outfit to see what Bourjois has in store for the Summer last week. With work I like to dress up, so when it comes to my time off I like to throw on jeans and be casual. Obviously I can't rock up to nice events in PJ''s as much as I'd love that so these jeans and this tunic was the closest thing. I purchased both of these before travelling and they've served me well. My Mum even has her beady eyes on the tunic. It's from River Island and although I bought it in December they still have similar styles in at the mo.
I kept everything else really simple. I love simplicity for the most part when I'm not wearing mad shit in my hair and heavily beaded statement necklaces that is! I like putting together two simple pieces from my wardrobe and creating an outfit with accessories. As someone who spent her life savings travelling my budget is tight at the moment so accessories are a fun and cheap way for me to mix up my look!
The lovely Amy at Impulse Loves sent me this beaut of a necklace before Christmas and I swear I've worn it so much. It's literally my go to piece when I'm wearing black as it lifts the outfit without being too attention grabbing. I love the accent yellow flowers and especially as it brings life to this otherwise boring black and grey outfit. Although the piece is chunky it's not too heavy either so you're not being weighed down.
To complete the look I wore my worn out slipper pumps from Penney's that are literally falling apart. I'm not ready to say goodbye to them yet, even though I'm pretty sure they'll start talking soon. I've just yet to find another pair that are as comfortable and look as nice as they do on. I've funny baby looking feet so any shoe that makes them look halfway normal gets a thumbs up from me!

May Favourites

Well these are technically my late April/May favourites but you get the jist. These are all products in my stash and most of them are from last year, but returning home from travelling equates to a one broke Sian, so I'm using and loving the products I already have! I'll do quick reviews of them all, but if you'd like me to go in to dept on anyone's just let me know!
There a mixture of hair care, beauty and skincare as well as a tooth brush! As always there is a mixture of both High- end and High-street so there's something for every budget. I'm definitely more of a High-street gal so the cheaper products are my favs!
Batiste Dry Shampoo
I picked up one of the new scents of the iconic dry shampoo brand Batiste. I've been using dry shampoo for years and all I can say is the scents have improved dramatically! At €4 for  a big can you get some bang for you buck. This Bloom scent smells gorgeous and definitely give my hair a boost. I also use it to add volume to my hair.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
Now I'm a fully converted gal when it comes to Rimmel's Wake Me Up, but I tried this the other day after finding it in my stash and I love it. It gives me a flawless finish and lasts all day. It blends into my skin beautifully and applies with ease. Definitely another one to add to my fav list!

Bioderma Sensibio H20*
A cult product in the beauty world, and a product I've been using for a long time. Whenever I go to France I make sure I pick up a few bottles of this as it wasn't available in Ireland - until now! It takes off makeup effortlessly and leaves your skin look and feeling fresh and clean. I plan on doing a full review soon, so watch this space!
Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm*
This was one of the only skincare products I took travelling and it was a life saver. It's my favourite cleanser of all time and it's something that I recommend to everyone and anyone. It's a cheaper alternative to the other cleansing balms on the market (£15.50) It leaves my skin so soft and gets rid of all my dry skin patches!
Benefit Roller Lash*
Man this is my favourite mascara at the moment. I'm a lover of They're Real, but this is definitely a game changer. It's not as harsh on the lashes as They're Real and gives me a hella-a-lot of volume without flaking. If you find They're Real a bit tough on your lashes, gives this mascara a whirl, you'll thank me later!
Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner*
I've been looking for a product like this for ages and I was thrilled to be able to try this out this month. This leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth and leave your pores looking definitely smaller, nothing major or anything but I did notice a difference. I like to use this as a primer as it's fantastic especially in Summer as it makes your makeup stay on all day!
Tanya Burr Lip-gloss in Afternoon Tea
I was thrilled when You Tube Star Tanya Burr brought out some cosmetics.I love this lip-gloss. The applicator is a foam tip that applies the lipgloss in one clean swoop. I chose the colour  "Afternoon Tea" which is the perfect shade for Spring/Summer. It's not sticky in the slightest and is just all round a good lipgloss. A definite Summer must have for me!
Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze*
This is a great product if you're like me and just want to be nice and golden without being too tanned. It's great for giving you a nice boost and giving you a healthy glow. It's moisturising too so you're killing two birds with one stone. It's a build-able too so if you want you can always opt to put on another layer or two!
Jo Malone White Jasmine & Mint
This is stolen from my Mum, but I'm obsessed with it. It smells so fresh. I'm quite funny when it comes to perfumes I'm quite picky but this one is one I'll actually buy myself! I also love the smaller bottles as they're so handy for throwing in your handbag or your clutch. If you haven't smelt this beauty, do it pronto!
Vichy Idealia Life Serum*
This has been in my stash for yonks and I have a full review of the product(here) I use this when I feel my skin is feeling a bit dull and lifeless and needs a bit of a glow. It's moisturising and it sinks straight into the skin. It's been a favourite for awhile now and I'll always repurchase it!
Slim Sonic Toothbrush*
It's the packaging I love to be perfectly honest. I'm not an electric toothbrush kinda gal, so this was a nice change. It's cute for travelling and the package comes with a replaceable head as well as some batteries so you're good to go. Do you need this in your life? No but it does look pretty in your bathroom and does the job!
NYX Stay Matte, Not Flat Powder*
I got this last week and have used it every single day and LOVE it. It keeps my makeup in place all day and doesn't give me the dreaded cake face! It's light and a little goes a long way and best of all? It's as cheap as chips at €10.99 and is comparable to MAC Studio Fix!
