My All Time Favourite Perfume: Elie Saab

I'm constantly buying perfumes, I'm extremely fickle when it comes to sticking to one and have bounced between different ones for so long. Prime example: one Summer it was Dolce&Gabbana "Light Blue" While I loved it, I only repurchased it once and then moved on to something else! so It's astounded me that I've repurchased this Elie Saab perfume on a number of occasions.
Firstly how gorgeous is the bottle? It's so feminine and pretty and looks so pretty on my dressing table. I was honestly hooked from first sniff and I can't tell you the amount of times I've been asked what perfume I've been wearing, when I've been wearing this. I find perfumes are quite a personal thing and it takes a lot of searching for one you love, and will happily wear over, and over and over again and I really think I've found the one!

Top Notes: African Orange Flower
Middle Notes: Jasmine
Base Notes: Patchouli, Virginia Cedar, White Honey, Rose

I'm not the best at describing perfumes, but it smells both fruity and florally but not in a sickly sweet way. This lasts for ages on the skin, and unlike some other perfumes you can still smell it after a few hours which I love as I tend to pack perfume on when I can't smell it any more and it can be overbearing for those around you. Over all I don't have a whole lot to say about this perfume, only that it's different to anything else out there and works well in both Summer and Winter!

Prices start from €51 but the 30ml lasts for ages! Available nationwide.

May "Morning Shower" Routine

As a nosey parker I love reading blogs and watching vlogs about the products people use, especially shower products as I'm always looking out for new products. I find you can often get stuck in a rut on the products you use and use the same products over and over again! I mix mine up every few weeks so I thought I'd do some posts on what my favourite shower products are this month! Below was my typical Morning Shower routine in May :)
This has to be my favourite scent of all time. It smells absolutely divine and for €9 you literally don't need to buy a body wash for at least 4 months, it lasts that long! It's a 500ml bottle and I literally can't get through it and I use a lot every day!  I love Soap&Glory body washes but this has to be the best smelling one. It smells like Sugary Limes but isn't too overpowering. It leaves your skin smelling and feeling delish.
I heard a lot about this Shampoo on the blogosphere so when I was 2 for under €5 in Tesco I picked up both the Shampoo and Conditioner. As I've recently got Ombre I'm wanting to look after my hair a little bit more and I find this Shampoo is really nourishing and leaves my hair extremely shiny and healthy looking. I'm not too sure if I would pay full price for it however. I'm  just not completely blown away with it.
Like I said I got 2 for the price of 1 and went for the matching conditioner. As someone who backcombs their hair I need a good conditioner and was really impressed with it. I find my hair is nearly tangle free after using it and feels extremely soft and smelling lovely! I will 100% repurchase it as it lasts around a month which is fantastic for me, as I go through conditioner like there's no tomorrow!
BEST SCRUB I HAVE EVER USED, HANDS DOWN. Literally this is my go too scrub and even when I don't have any stubborn tan to remove I reach for this. My skin is left so incredibly soft and subtle after I use this, it's hard to explain. I suffer from dry skin and my skin has never felt softer. This is my must have scrub for the Summer. A bonus is that the scrub itself is pink! You can read my full review HERE
I like to follow up the Body wash theme and follow with the Body Buttercream. It's rich and luxurious and leaves my skin feeling so incredibly soft and smelling like something out of heaven. At €15 it's not the cheapest moisturiser, but it really does work and with such a fresh citrus scent it's perfect for Summer! It sinks in quickly and like the body wash a little goes a long way!
During the Summer I'm all over sweet, fruity scents and this one smells so amazing! I swear after I'm finished in the shower I smell like a fruit bowl exploded on me! This is light and fresh and definitly not over powering as it's only a light body splash and it only lingers for an hour or two after application so I always bring it with me, if I'm out and about!

What I Wore | Topshop Tartan Leggings

I wore this on Tuesday evening to the Benefit event. I was busy running about during the day and wanted to wear something easy! The weather was lovely on Tuesday, a far cry from Monday so I wore a T-shirt and braved no jacket! It was a great feeling and I'm really excited for the weather to get warmer. I haven't taken down my Summer wardrobe just yet, but here's hoping it's going to be sooner rather then later!
I found these leggings on the top of the fresh washing pile and decided to rock them, as I wasn't bothered looking something else, anyone else do that? and then I grabbed a black tank and looked around my room for a top to throw over it! I've had this fringe top for ages now and get so much wear out of it! It's perfect for the Summer and looks funky over a bikini too for a handy cover up.
The outfit is really simple and comfortable. I've gotten so much wear out of these leggings and they get more and more comfy with each wear. I picked them up in Topshop a few months ago and wish I'd bought another pair as I love them so much! I wore a statement necklace as I felt it needed a bit of bling and I love the iridescent colours in this necklace from Penney's.
I wore my Zara studded high tops that I picked up in Spain at the start of the year and I kind of forgot about them until yesterday! I've only worn them a handful of times but my God are they comfy. I love the stud detail and are a nice change from Converse. I love dressing more casually and feel more confident in this outfit then I would in sky high heels!

Benefit "They're Real" Push up Liner Event

Last night I went to one of the best Benefit Events I've ever been to! They're my favourite events and I always look forward to them. Last night it was the "They're Real Push Up Liner" launch. As someone who is woeful at liquid liner I was really excited to try this! As you can see from all the photo's below the Benebabes put so much effort into the launch and everyone had fun! I had such a fantastic evening and will have a review on the Liner as well as the eye makeup remover soon!

Instagram Catch up #2

Another Instagram catch up for you guys! I'm getting more and more into Instagram and no longer go yonks without posting! I'm pretty much on it everyday, playing around with all the different filters and what not. I'm a bit of a photo junkie (not just selfies!) and love taking pictures of pretty places and pretty food. I love looking back over my instagram photo's and see how much things have changed too. I also use it to stalk photo's of Liam Payne...
So what have I been up to? Aside from not blogging! I've been working crazy and then when I get a day off, I felt zero desire to open up my laptop and blog. The weather has also been mostly awful when I have a day off, so it's near impossible to take good outfit photo's!Hopefully the sun will some soon though (forever an optimist) Last week was a bit crazy, in a good way Between working, cocktailing and One Direction I was all over the place. On Wednesday I went to Powerscourt Garden's up in Wicklow with one of my oldest friends and had a lovely day off with her. On Thursday, I went to the launch of the new NKD tanning range from Vita Liberata, and drank a hella a lot of their delicious cocktails. ake for me (until I get to the beach, that is!) I've a strong relationship with Cocoa Brown and for the last year it's been my go to tan, I'm going to review their Darker 1-hour tan soon as well as a few different tanning brands, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
I managed to get to Platform Pizza and officially have a new obsession. My Uncle and Cousins have been raving about it for ages and I finally went and Oh My Lord, it's so good! The Moroccan Chicken Flat bread with Hummus is to die for. I plan on doing a restaurant review soon too! I just didn't take my camera with last time to take some snaps, but next time I'll make sure to bring it! Over the past few weeks, we've had a few nice summery days, which made me rock my floral printed skinny jeans and sandals, and it finally felt like Summer! Last night I went to One Direction in Croke Park and can I just say how bloody brilliant it was! I've been a fan from the beginning after meeting them at the Xfactor and it was amazing seeing them perform again! Of course the majority of fans there, were teeny boppers, but no shame in that! ;)

Barry M Textured Nail Effect in "Princess"

Today was such a miserable day. It's nearly June, but it doesn't feel like it one bit, I'm sat cuddling a hot water bottle, I'm that cold. I've gel nails on at the moment, but wanted to show you my go to nail polish when I don't have gels on! My lovely friend Isha  gave me this little gem and it's such a "me" colour. Normally on days like these I have a bit of a pamper day, but since I can't paint my nails,so this is the next best thing!
Barry M is one of my favourite brand of Nail Polishes. They don't break the bank and they come in so many different colours. They have everything from nudes to the more vibrant neons so whatever mood you're in you'll find a nail polish to suit your mood. This one is on their "Textured Nail Effects" in the colour "Princess" which is very apt for this polish! It's a gorgeous pastel pink with loads of glitter!
I've been using  this for a number of months and there's still loads left, and I like to apply at least two coats! You can see the usage and to be honest I'm pretty impressed ith how much I've used it. I don't know about anyone else, but I play favourites with my nail polishes and once I settle into a routine of one I love that's all I wear. Barry M really came up trumps with this one. It's a nail polish that epitomises me, Isha knows me so well!
As you can see it's even nicer on the nails! It's not too over the top, and is perfectly acceptable for during the day (In my world anyway!) As it's glitter I always use a base and top coat so it's not an effort and a half to take off, we've all been there, right? It's so easy to apply, and although one coat is a little opaque, two coats gives you a gorgeous colour! If you're like me and want a pretty polish, you need this in your life!
Over all I would really recommend this nail polish, it's not as hard to get off as other glitter polishes and doesn't chip as easily. I constantly chip my nail polish when working (and typing) and with a top coat, this didn't chip as quick as some other polishes I own! Same goes for the Barry M nail polishes in general actually, I find them a lot longer lasting than the likes of Rimmel etc.

Pay Day Wish List

With the weather being awful and not getting time to get outfit pictures, this will have to do! I got a few nice bits and bobs so once the weather picks up. I will inundate you with pictures of my mug. I love compiling wish lists and spending imaginary money ;)

Untitled #99

Shop the Wish List:

With Pay Day fast approaching I decided to do a Pay Day Wish List! I'm saving hard for whatever I end up doing this Summer (I'm pushing for Vegas at the end of August) so while I won't have as much money as I usually do to squander I thought I'd do a list regardless! This is a slight cheat as I've already bought the Asos Curve Jumper (I bought a few sizes bigger for a real 90's vibe) it's so lovely and soft and is a gorgeous faded pink! I've been wearing it a lot on my days off so keep your eyes peeled for an outfit post soon! I've been loving quirky sunglasses recently and the colourful Asos ones are only fab! I'm really wanting to treat myself to some new underwear and love this Curvy Kate set! It's bright and colourful and a bit sexy too. I've found a great place in Dun Laoghaire (New York Nails) that does amazing gel nails for €30. They're clean, quick and professional and last an age! So ever since I got them on I've been looking at cool rings, especially the YSL dupes. Fran and Jane have lovely similar ones that are gorgeous and only €25!

I've been wearing my white cons so much lately I want a black pair. They won't show up dirt and like my white ones I know I'll have them for years. As the weather is warmer I really want to try out Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. It's quite light and won't leave my skin feeling heavy or cakey, which is not what you want in the Summer. As well as Sheer Glow the Nars "Orgasm" blush is a gem I will be repurchasing this month. It's by far my favourite blush and it lasts for ages (Unless you accidentally smash it like I did!). This Tshirt from River Island is so cute and for €20 it would  be rude not too! The Michael Kors small pink bag is absolutely gorgeous. Normally I'm strictly a "everything but the kitchen skin" bag kinda girl but this one is perfect for evenings or when you don't want to lug everything around with you. Last but not least, perfume. I do not need another perfume, quite frankly I've yet to finish a bottle other than my all time favourite Ellie Saab but I want something new and fresh for the Summer and as of late I'm obsessed with Benefit's perfumes. They all smell lovely and the packaging is gorgeous!

What's on your Pay Day Wish List?

Skinician Advanced Eye Repair Review

Earlier this month I was treated to a luxurious facial in Harvey Nichols thanks to the new Irish premium Skincare Brand Skinician. My skin has been a bit iffy as of late and the facial was just what I needed. My skin felt absolutely gorgeous after it and I noticed an improvement immediately. After a skin consultation the lovely Alison recommended the Advanced Eye Repair* for my *ahem* bags. It's no secret I jam pack my life. I'm out more than in and I don't really have a moment to relax and my skin (and sleep) suffers tremendously. After the facial I've made a concious effort to really look after my skin and to remove every scrap before collapsing into bed at night. So far so good and I've been using the Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm and I swear I fall more and more in love with it after each application!

I'm not a mumbo jumbo gal when it comes to products and I skim all the scientific bits so I'm not going to bore you. The Eye Repair Cream is specially formulated with buckwheat, yeast, Vitamin E and Vitamin B5 to nourish and sooth the delicate tissue around the eye area and ease signs of fatigue. It claims to reduce dark circles, fine lines and puffiness by 10%., as well as brightening and plumping the skin. I've only been using this now for about 2 weeks and I've noticed an improvement in my dark circles. Nothing too crazy but I definitely see a difference. The consistency is gel like and smooths onto the skin without any effort and skins in immediately. A little goes a long way, which is good as you only get 15ml for €35.50 which is out of a lot of people's price range, especially young women who aren't worrying about anti-ageing skincare products as of yet. I will vouch for this product though, it does work and it makes me look a little bit brighter and more awake, which is always a good thing!

Harvey Nichols and Skinician are offering a full Facial treatment for €50 in the luxurious Harvey Nichols treatment rooms. After your relaxing facial you'll be able to redeem your €50 on Skinician Products. Having experienced the facial I would wholeheartedly recommend it! It's available next week on the 28th and the 29th of May.
