Powerscourt Waterfall

Hey Lovelies!
Hope you've been enjoying this lovely weather, we've been having! I hear this Bank Holiday is meant to be a scorcher! Yesterday I had a half day off work, so my friend Laura, and I decided to make the most of it, and venture outside Dublin. We headed up to Powerscourt. On the outskirts of Dublin it's a lovely place to spend an afternoon. I was slightly "tired" from the night previous, so it was just what I needed to clear my head. We took a little picnic, and had a good catch up. It was such a great afternoon, that we're going to get a big group together some nice afternoon and spend the day there! Ireland is so pretty, and I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place!

If The Hat Fits...

Hey Lovelies,
As you all know, I'm a hat person. I love all types of hats, bowler's, baseball caps, beanies, you name It I wear them. I think they're a great fashion accessory that's quite overlooked. A lot of people are afraid of hats, as they're unsure of which styles suit them or not, especially when it comes to fancy hats, for something special. Lucky for them, Fashion World has a fantastic new nifty feature which tells you the best hat to suit your face! Clever, huh? It's the perfect tool, for you to find something for the special occasion!
It's really easy to do as well. A lot of the time I feel these things are gimicky, and are too complicated to figure out. I for one, don't know the first thing about "fancy hats" and truth be told, I'm always a bit baffled when I need to get one, be it for a Wedding or for the Races. I had so much fun seeing what hat, would suit my face shape, as It's something that people over look sometimes when buying hats! It's extremely easy to use and takes less than a couple of minutes! With Wedding Season, and Summer, just around the corner, there will be tons of occasions where you might have to wear a hat.
Everyone should be aware of their face shape.  It makes things easier for when you're finding glasses, or sunglasses as if you know your face shape, you can tell what styles will suit you, and not be too small nor too big. Having a rather found face, I can get away wit larger sized glasses, with someone with a more heart shaped, face would be better suited to aviator style sunglasses.
Measuring tape, just seems to go walkabout in my house, so I just went for the easier option, and picked "Round". As you can see there is quite a selection, so you'll be able to pick one, no matter what shape your face is! After you've decided what face shape you're at, simply click next, and wait for the next question! ;)
On to another simple, self explanatory question, pick your closest eye colour! Although I so always get confused, on whether my eye colour is blue or grey. Having had a little inspection, I choose grey! If you're unsure about your eyes, I'd click the two options and see what hat you're put with!
And last before least, you choose your occasion, and you're greeted with what hat suits you best! It's a great feature, that's not only a little bit of fun, it's informative too!

I think you all should give it a go, even if it's for a little bit of fun!

Jerk in a Floral Crown

Hey Lovelies,
As you're probably aware, the sun has been out for the past couple of days. I've been working but on Sunday evening I managed to grab a few minutes in my back garden! It was so lovely and really got me in the mood for Summer. It definitely inspired this outfit. When it's nice out I don't like being all fussy, and uncomfortable. Penney's/Primark have amazing clothes at the moment, so when I saw these two, I knew I had to have them. A faux denim skater skirt is such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe, it can be worn all season's and goes with a lot! I know these T-shirts are everywhere, but this one was particularly  cute, and hey it's pink! it only cost me £4 last time i was in the UK, so it was a real bargain, as opposed to the gazillion Euro I spent on the Topshop "Geek" one!
I look so happy in this picture! I bought this floral crown last week from www.boohoo.com unfortunately the second I took it out of the bag, one of the roses popped off! I glued it back in, as to be honest it's more hassle than it's worth to email back and forth and blah blah blah! I kept the outfit really simple, with just the floral crown as the main accessory. It's such an easy outfit to wear, it's simple isn't too warm and you can always layer it with cardigan or even a nice hoodie, for when the sun goes down!
Floral Crown:Boohoo, everything else Penney's/Primark

What do you gals think of floral crown's?

Statement Necklace

Hey Lovelies!
Today was my first day off in nearly a week, and I was delighted to get sometime off to relax. I shopping for a little bit, then headed to meet my lovely friend Aundrea, and we both got our hair down in Style Club. It was so nice, and relaxing and quite frankly just what I needed. After we headed off to the Morgan for an informative afternoon with Yves Saint Laurent about the launch of their new skincare(post coming soon!). It was a lovely day, and it was made even better by the sun that was shining! I had a little lie in today, so I was a bit late with getting up, so I through on a black dress. I didn't want a plain boring outfit, so decided my best bet was to accessorize.
I paired a plain black, skater dress dress with a statement necklace. I saw this on my lunch break last week, and was anxiously waiting for Pay day to arrive so I could snap it up. It's €28.50 a little expensive but it's such a statement piece, that I know I'll get loads of wear out of it. I'll wear it loads throughout the summer, simple dresses to give it an edge. I also added my bowler hat, and sunnies! Although it was rather windy out so I was terrified it would blow off! It was a simple and easy outfit to throw on, when you want to look put together but don't have time!

Making a Statement

Hey Beauties,
I've been meaning to do this post for a while. Unless you've been living under a rock for the last while,  you'll notice that statement necklaces are EVERYWHERE. Being well ahead of the crowd, I've been wearing them for years. You've all probably guessed by now that I'm a huge fan of bling. The bigger the better, and if it's tacky, that's an added bonus. I swear it's one of my favourite things to buy. I love buying statement necklaces as I get a lot more wear out of them, than most of my clothes. An outfit isn't complete for me without some fabulous neck accessory. I love how, no matter how awful you're feeling and if you're having a day where "nothing blooody fits me" you can never go wrong with a LBD, and a nice statment neck piece. I've put together a few of my  favourite necklaces in the shops at the moment, that I wanted to share with y'all!
Untitled #51

I'm often asked where I get my necklaces, as I always go for quirky pieces, that look more expensive than they are. My go to shops would be H&M, Topshop, New Look, Boohoo and River island, as well as Penney's! My most recent obsession is from Boohoo. Boohoo.com, is actually amazing in terms of accessories. They're super cheap, have a wide selection and have something for everyone. If you haven't already checked them out, definitely do! Penney's/Primark, have really upped their game in recent times, and they currently have amazing statement pieces for little to nothing! New Look is also high on my list, as they're cheaper than Topshop and River Island, but have similar pieces. Every so often, they have a "Buy 1 get 1 free" deal on, so keep your eyes peeled for those! Saying that,  Topshop, never fails to impress me. Yes they're prices are expensive, but there's no denying the pieces are cool and quirky and you'll always find something for any occassion, same goes for River Island. River Island would have more daring, and more colourful pieces but they're funky and the quality is surprisingly good. I bought a silver statement piece over two years ago. It's insanely heavy and only has a small clasp. I've worn it loads, and it's still going strong!

If I a want something a little more special, I'll treat myself to a Fran&Jane necklace. I'm all for supporting Irish brands, so when I want a glam piece, it's the first place I head to! Before Christmas I bought a gorgeous Black, Silver and Gold piece. At €99 it was a little more than I wanted to spend on a single neck piece, but I decided to treat myself.  I justified it, by how versatile it was and it would go with a lot of my wardrobe. I've worn it at least 3 times a week since then, and it's still in perfect condition. No stones, have fallen out, and it still looks brand new, so it was definitely a great buy! At the moment, they have a very similar one, with gorgeous gold's and turquoises, which I'm extremely tempted to get!  If any of you are in Dundrum Town Centre you should definitely pop in and have a look! You won't be disappointed!

Beauty Wish List

Hey Beauties,
I always try to have a good mix of both fashion and beauty, as I'm a huge fan of both. This Blog did originally start out as a fashion Blog, but It's grown into more than that. I've done a million and one fashion wish lists, but rarely do beauty ones, so I've decided to do one! Pay day is fast approaching  and I for one can't wait to get my hands on all these goodies!
Untitled #50

All you beauty junkies out there, will probably know, I'm miles behind in putting all these on my wish lists! I was in Estee Lauder the other day, and had a swatch of this gorgeous highlighter. It's so pigmented and pretty so I've decided this is a must! I've recently ran out of my "Double Wear" foundation. It's perfect for nights out or long days when you know you won't have the option to top up your makeup. It literally lasts all day, and gives a nice matt finish. I've gone on a bit of a foundation binge lately, and am dying to try the "Makeup Forever, HD foundation" I can't wait to see if it's worth all the hype! I'm also on a blush binge (feel free to intervene)I've a million blushes on the go and as much as I love "Dainty" by MAC, I'm being sucked back into Nars"Orgasm". Told you I was fickle!I also can't wait to test the new Bourjois cream Blushers. I've read many a rave review, so can't wait to try it for myself.

I've a little confession to make, as much as I love "They're Real" by Benefit, I'm a huge fan of their 'ol fav "Bad Gal" It makes my eyelashes look so full, doesn't flake and isn't a nightmare to remove! ("They're Real I'm looking at you!) For months I've wanted a Deborah Lipmann nail polish, especially the above colour. Pink and multi coloured glitter, what more would you want in a nail polish? I've been searching for a new primer as well, and have been recommended "That Gal" by Benefit, so I'm going to give it a go. The packaging sucked me in, so let's just hope it's good! I also need to pick up a new eye shadow primer, so I'm heading straight for the Urban Decay one. It's a firm favourite in my makeup bag, and unless something amazing comes up, I won't change my mind!

Has anyone tried any of the products? Please let me know your thoughts! :)

Summer Lips

Hey Beauties,
Last night I headed with the very lovely Roisin to the LA Creative event, in their new store on Chatnam Street in the centre of Dublin. As a lover of makeup, this is like a mecca to me! I'll write a post on the event itself in the next few days, as it was a fab one! They have a fantastic selection of Lipsticks, and I was thrilled when I got my hands on not only a Lipstick, but a shiny sparkling lipgloss. I was so excited to try them out, I tested them out today, to let you guys know what I thought. As you know I'm a lipstick fiend, and wear it 7 days of the week. Normally I'm either a pink or a red girl, with the occasional nude thrown in for good measure. I'm always looking for different and unusual colours, that aren't too crazy, and can be worn for work and for going out with the girls!
As you can see both these colours are perfect for Spring/Summer. I've been searching for a nice coral lipstick for ages. I've a few orange lipsticks, but I wanted something a little more subtle for during the day. It's quite nourishing on, and smell amazing- like you're on holidays! It's named "Micro Melon" so it's definitely one for your holiday makeup bag! It's a creamy texture, and it doesn't dry out your lips. My skin/lips are often dry, so this is a big deal for me, and I won't wear lipstick(Aside from the ever so pretty Rouge Volupte "Lingerie Pink") that dries out my lips. I wore it the whole day, and did need a few touch up's but I was happy with it's longevity. When I saw the lipgloss, I was a bit hesitant. I've had awful experiences with lipglosses, so I'm not a huge fan of them. The only lipgloss I've really liked was Rimmel "Apocalips" so I was wary about this one. "Super Pink" is  a gorgeous sheer pink with added sparkles so I warmed up to it straight away. It's not as sticky as I'd imagined, and is a gorgeous nudey pink on your lips. It's perfect worn during the day, or layered over your favourite pink lipstick for a night out. I'll definitely hold on to this!
Micro Lipstick in Melon* €15 & Super Gloss in Super Pink* €13

Both these colours are gorgeous. Truthfully I probably wouldn't repurchase the lipgloss purely because I don't wear lipgloss enough. I would definitely repurchase the lipstick though. It's the perfect colour for summer, smells delish and lasts a decent amount of time of your lips. Win-win all round!

You can purchase LA/Creative Makeup in their store on Chatnam Street, Dublin 2 and through their website

Wizard PR Event

Last Wednesday, I bopped along after work to the Swanky Morgan Penthouse. I was here for the Benefit Event last month, so I was extremely excited to attend another event there. It's a great location, and it's a really intimate, yet relaxed environment. This event was handled by a London based PR firm. Wizard PR(even their name is cool!) has an array of great products, some I'm familiar with, other's I'm not. I was so excited to meet the team, and to see all the fantastic products they had. We were also treated to champagne and yummy food! It was one of the best event's I've been too in a long while!
Xen Tan:
You all know I'm a tan fanatic, I'm a firm lover of Cocoa Brown, but I'm always on the lookout for different products. I've heard great things about Xen tan, and i can't wait to try it out. I want a dark colour for the summer, as I doubt they'll be any sun for us to soak up to get a real one. I've tried and tested gazillions of tans at this rate, so I'm excited to try new tans, and see if they offer anything different than the others. I got two large bottles to try, so you'll be the first to know what I think about it!
Pur Minerals:
As I mentioned in my post on Pur Minerals, I was extremely sceptical. I never thought that with my dry skin I'd be a lover of the stuff. It's actually a great foundation. It's perfect for when  you don't want that makeup feeling. The coverage is build-able which is great. It comes in a compact, so no swirling the brush and tapping it out. Something that I've always thought was extremely tedious! Overall it's a fab product, that I'm glad I've tried, Thank you Wizard PR you've converted me!
Glam Glow:
I've heard rave reviews about this cult beauty product, so was delighted to have the chance to try it out. With   it originating on Hollywood film sets, and with a long list of Celebrity customers, it's got to be good. When I  busy, I always forgot that my skin needs a break, not just my body so this is the perfect product to give my skin what it so desperately deserves. It's a clay mask, but I was warned isn't one to be relaxing in the bath with. I for one don't care, as long as it makes my skin look amazing. I'm testing it out tomorrow so I'll report back soon!
Over all it was a fantastic event, with an extremely generous goody bag. My bag was so full, It broke while I was walking down the stairs of the bus! Thankfully no products were harmed in the accident, just my ego! I will be doing reviews for you all, as they is some fab products, that I can't wait to share with you all :)

Boots Haul

Hey Beauties,
If you're anything like me, the biggest nosey parker in history, you'll love looking at hauls. They're my favourite blog posts to read, and I often watch countless Haul video's on You Tube! There's nothing remarkable about this haul, but It would be similar to what I'd normally pick up on my weekly trips to Boots! Working in a shopping centre is extremely bad for my bank balance, with Boots and Penney's/Primark being high on the culprit list! I've plans to do a Penney's haul next week, when I get a chance so keep an eye out

Venus Embrace
Shaving/Waxing for a lot of us, it's our daily ritual. For me, it's an awfully mundane task. In the morning when I'm in a rush it's the last thing I feel like doing. I normally shave with a shitty razor when I'm in such a rush I'm left with cuts, and let's face it, it's not a great look. So I picked this one up on offer for about €7. Venus by Gilette was the first razor I ever used, so I've a bit of nostalgia when using them! They're girly, easy to use and really minimize cuts. So a win-win all round.
Johnsons&Johnsons "Gentle Eye make-up removal pads"
I fully admit this, I don't use an eye make-up remover. I just scrub and cleanse my face and hope for the best . It's an awful habit, one that I'm changing! There was a 3 for 2 across all skincare brands, so I decided to snap this up. It's a no fuss eye make-up remover so I'm sure it will tempt me to start taking off my mascara at night. I'll keep you updated on it, if It's good!
"Tea Tree&Witch Hazel, Exfoliating Face Scrub"
As a suffer of dry skin, I've a million and one face cleanser's but not nearly enough face scrubs. I've a stubborn dry patch on my skin, that's extremely annoying, so I'm on a mission to find a scrub that works for me. I've been using this for a few days, and don't like it at all. It's quite watery, and I don't feel it's doing my skin any benefits, so \sadly the
Maybelline "Colour Tattoo in Pink Golf"
I usually stick to one makeup palette, that consists of neutral beiges and browns. I rarely move out of my comfort zone, but when I saw this gorgeous Rose gold coloured cream shadow I had to get it. It's a gorgeous colour, that is still quite neutral. It lasts all day, and don't crease once used with primer.
Bourjouis "Rouge Edition" #12
I love this lipstick. It's a gorgeous coral pink colour, that's very vibrant. On first application it's quite sheer, but gives a gorgeous shine. I prefer to build up the colour for a gorgeous pop of colour. I know this will be a summer makeup staple.
Rimmel "Sun Shimmer" Bronzer
I've been using this bronzer since I was a youn'un. It's a firm favourite, lasts a long time and gives off a nice tan glow. Not the best bronzer out here, but for under a tenner you can't go too wrong! It's a great one to keep in your handbag.
Rimmel: "Wake Me Up" Foundation:
Y'all have heard my rave about this foundation before. Since I wear makeup a lot, I love this one. It's inexpensive, looks and feels great on and is long lasting. I love the dewy glow this foundation gives me, and I love that it's a drug store brand!
Garnier: "Moisture Match for Dry/Very Dry Skin"
I'm always looking for a good moisturiser. I haven't been using it as often as I should, so I'm glad to be back on track. I've only been using this a few days and I absolutely love it. priced at around €7 it's really cheap, smells great and most importantly leaves me skin feeling incredibly soft!
Toothbrush&Mouthwash
It's a necessity kids, look after those teeth ;) Both were on offer so I snapped them up!

Black and Grey

Hey Lovelies!
On Saturday night, I met up with one of the girls. I was feeling rather unwell, the whole day so just wanted something easy to wear that was comfortable. I didn't want to dress up too much, so when I was scanning my wardrobe(floordrobe) It was settled.  I saw this top that I bought last Summer, that I've only worn once or twice. It's a bit baggy, and easy to wear. I paired it with a simple black tank top and some leggings.
There's something extremely comforting about wearing loose fitting clothes. To top it off my relaxed look, I went for BB cream (Dr Jart) and a tinted lip balm. I tell ya it felt refreshing to be out in casual slouchy clothes! The top is actually a dark slate grey, so it breaks up the black in the rest of the outfit. It's a high low top, which makes it a little more dressy, and adds something different.I was going through all my bags and saw this little gem, that I bought last Winter and had completely forgotten about. I really should become more organised! All we did was have a mooch around some shops before going to Wagamama's for Dinner. I haven't been a fan of Wagamama's lately, but I did enjoy their Chicken Ramen. I suppose it's great when you're not feeling good!
Bag:Coco Boutique, Everything else Penney's/Primark

I also added the big statement necklace to brighten up the outfit so it's not completely dark and Winter like. You really can't beat Penney's for their accessories. I swear everytime I go in there I end up picking up something different. I suppose since it's cheap as chips, you can't go too wrong!

Pur Mineral Starer Kit Review

Hey Beauties,
Now I've a confession to make, I didn't trust mineral makeup. As someone who suffer's from dry skin, I couldn't think of anything worse to put on my face to be honest. I've always been a stubborn sceptic not really believing reviews or what my friends told me about it. Crazy, huh? Anyway when I got the chance to try it out, I threw caution to the wind, and gave it a go. Still highly doubtful, and with no expectations, mind. Optimism at it's finest, eh?
Pur Mineral's Starter Kit*

First things first. It's a 4 step kit, with clear concise instructions on the back, so everyone can apply it correctly. There's nothing worse than a list as long as your arm of instructions that makes no sense, and only confuses you further! The very simple instructions are as follows:
Step 1: Correcting Primer: to balance out the skin tone, to reduce the look of pores and nourish for a brighter and firmer appearance, with clinically proven skin-perfecting ingredients. I applied this evenly over my face, and left it a minute to sink in. I loved this, it felt like silk on my skin, and gave me the perfect base.
Step 2: Not only a powder foundation, but also a concealer. It also contains a SPF15, which is a must for me during the summer months. I applied the powder using the chisel brush in a circular motion, until I was satisfied with the coverage. You can layer it for a fuller coverage, which I love as you have a few options on how to wear it. It would be especially great for a day when not a lot of makeup is required.
Step 3: To give your skin, a sun kissed glow I swept the Bronzer sparingly over my face. It contains antioxidants and Shea butter so it's a win-win in my book. But be warned, a little goes a long way.
Step 4: Mascara application. I personally stuck to my 'ol favourite as the mascara looked as cheap as chips. So I can't comment too much on this one, I'm afraid!

Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised. Now It's not a miracle foundation or anything, but I works a lot better than I'd ever anticipated. It's so easy to apply, and your skin feels amazing. You've no cakey feeling, you actually feel like you're not wearing any foundation at all. When I do use this again, I will probably build up the coverage a teeny bit more. Now I do have to keep in mind I did had a hormonal breakout  over the weekend. when I applied this so my skin wasn't as clear as it should be, but for work I'd definitely build up the coverage. I must admit, I eat my words. It's not nearly as awful as I anticipated  my skin didn't turn into one big dry patch, so that was a win-win all round. I will definitely be repurchasing this. It's perfect for Summer, when you want coverage but not heaviness. Maybe in future I should be more open to other types of products, who knows what I'm missing out on? They're available in Debenhams stores and Online

Have you tried mineral makeup?

Selling your wardrobe

Hey Lovelies,
So many of you, if you've been reading my blog for a little while know, I've plans to move to the Bright Lights of London. For a girl that can't save money to save her life, this is going to be a little problem. I'm always looking for ways to save money, and the more I think about it, the more I realise I have to cop on to myself, and start up a savings account. It's gotten to the point where people don't believe I'm going as they think I won't be able to afford it. The only thing going in my favour right now, is my positive attitude. I'm positive I'll get a (good) job, and I'll manage to make enough money before I leave. Some may call it wishful thinking, but I'm calling it optimism. I fully plan on selling a lot of my clothes through a blog sale and through Ebay, to make a little extra cash. I've a huge amount of clothes, that aren't loved as much as I'd like them to be, so in the next month or so, I'll let you know when I'm selling!
There is also another option! The Folks at Music Magpie, the site where you can sell your unwanted music and electrical items, have now added a new option for you to sell your unwanted clothes! Now let's face if, we've all got clothes, that probably not a lot of people would be that interested in, and that wouldn't be worth your while selling. I've had a little look through the website, and it's easy to navigate through. All you do is enter in the brand, and a few other options, and poof you're given a price. Now you're not going to make a fortune through this site, but anything is better than it gathering dust at the end of your wardrobe

Weekend Casual

Hey Lovelies,
Whenever I'm running errands, I don't actually dress up that much. I love throwing on trousers, a simple tank top and a jacket for a casual day time look, that's classic and chic. With the weather being all over the place at the moment, I'm trying to get the last few wears out of my Winter clothes, before I put them into storage for next year. I bought this jacket before Christmas, and absolutely adore it. I just wish I had perhaps bought it in the grey colour, instead of the Burgundy. Don't get me wrong I love the jacket, but on a practicality level it's not the most wearable colour, all year round.Anyway! Last weekend I wore the jacket over a plain basic black tank top, and my khaki jeggings, a simple bar of pumps, and an oversized bag. This look feels like my uniform at the moment!
Jacket:River Island, Jeggings:Dunnes Stores, Bag:Fran&Jane, Sunglasses:Penney's/Primark

It's a really easy look to throw together, so it' a perfect weekend look. I'm still really loving the leather sleeve trend, and hoping in stays next years, as I've a lot of jackets from this year with leather sleeves, that I'd like the option of wearing again next year!

Coco Mademoiselle Dupe

I've had a love for Coco Mademoiselle, ever since I was a teen. It's a gorgeous scent, really romantic and feminine. Unfortunately at around €70 it 'aint cheap. I for one, have at least three perfumes on the go at one time, and they're all around the €70 mark, so I try to alternate them, so they last longer, if that makes sense? With perfume being something I wear daily, and spritz on numerous times a day, I'm always looking for deals, and discounts. When El of A Thrift Mrs, blogged about a Coco Mademoiselle dupe, I was very intrigued. I love a good dupe, and ever since I was introcued to the Mua Palette, I've had my ears and ears open on the hunt for more. The Mua "Undressed" palette is a dead ringer for the Urban Decay palette, but only costs about €7 opposed to €40. Not only is it mega cheap, but the quality, longevity and colours are extremely similar, if not on par.
So after reading El's recommendation I was dead set on trying to get the one she recommended. I don't do the food shop with me mam, so I'm rarely in Lidl, and truth be told I forgot about it. That is until the other night, when me and my friend Lynne popped in to get their amazing Chilli flavoured Nancho's (try them!) It was only then I remembered and ran to the beauty isle, and low and behold it was there!I grabbed it and ran to the till, dying to test out! At first smiff, I couldn't believe how similar it smelt to the Cult brand that is Chanel. For an unbelievable €3.99, you definitely can't beat it. Now the bottle is nothing special, but doesn't look as cheap as it is either.
I personally can't get over how much I love this perfume. Granted I've only had it for a few days, but It's all I've been using, and the best part is, I don't even feel guilty spraying loads on! The scent does linger for a few hours, but I always spray it numerous times throughout the day. It's the perfect perfume for your handbag. It would also be perfect for using at work or on a night out, as you won't be too upset if you drop it or loose it. I'd recommend this perfume to everyone! A lot of people can be makeup snobs, and refuse to wear something that isn't a known brand, but being honest it's their loss! I know I'd much rather save over €60 and splash out on something else!

Would you guys try "Suddenly Madame Glamour"?

Casual

Hey Lovelies,
Sorry for my delay in posting recently. Life get's in the way! I try to update this space as much as I can! It's my little baby after all :) Last month I ordered this over-sized dress from Asos. Y'all know me, anything over-sized and I'm sucked in! Now when I got it, it was a little too over-sized for my liking. It just kinda look like a tent on me, and not a cool one! I wanted to cinch it in a bit, so I added a belt, and just wore it off the shoulder.
It's an incredibly easy outfit to wear. I personally love the off the shoulder look, as it's a little bit sexy, without being too much. I kept my outfit simple and relaxed by adding a bowler hat, and wedges runners - which by the way are like walking on clouds! I added the belt to make this dress a little less over-sized and to show off my waist. And with a slick of red lippy I was ready to go!

Floral Crown

Oh I wish I was a Punk Rocker...Nah not really ;)
I'm a huge fan of mad head pieces, so when I saw this floral crown in Topshop a few weeks ago, I knew I had to have it. At €30 it's a bit steep for a headband, but it's such a statement piece. I wore this the other day, with my favourite lace dress from Asos for a feminine and whimsical look.I wore it with  a light red lipstick to compliment the gorgeous red flowers.
A lot of my friends HATE it, and my Mum wasn't too keen on it either but Who cares! It's not everyone's taste, which I like, as if everyone had the same taste we'd all dress the same, and there's no fun in that. I added my circle sunglasses from Penney's! I've been wearing these now for over two months, and practically live in them. I definitely need to snap up a few pairs, for when the sun comes out a bit more! I think this has to be one of my favourite outfit's of the moment! I feel like a modern day princess in it!

Anyway Love's I'll keep this short, and sweet! My bed is looking very tempting right now ;)

Blushing

Hey Beauties,
A question I often get asked is what blusher I'm wearing. For me wearing blusher makes me feel "Healthy" I love a healthy glow, and how a hint of pink on my cheeks, transforms my makeup. I've changed my blusher's numerous times, as I can be quite fickle when it comes to beauty products. I have my "Old Faithful's" for most beauty products i.e Rimmel "Wake Me Up" Foundation and "They're Real" By Benefit but for some reason I can't settle on one blusher. You name it I've tried it Nars "Orgasm" was fantastic, and I loved it, but for some reason I never repurchased it. Last year I was madly in love with a Sephora own brand blusher, because at €12 a pop I could afford to. I guess I just don't like spending over €30 on blusher. After settling on my Sephora one, and being happy with it. I go on and drop it, and that was the end of that. At the time I managed to get 30% off MAC (It pays to be chums with your workmates :D), and after hovering over the Blusher's I managed to convince myself to snap up "Dainty"
"Dainty" is a gorgeous shimmery, pink blusher. I haven't hopped onto the coral blusher bandwagon just yet, but for now this is the closest I've got. It's a gorgeous natural blush, with hints of shimmer throughout. I wear highlighter during the day, so at first I was slightly apprehensive on whether or not I'd be too shimmery for the day. I needn't of worried, as the shimmer is very light and subtle and just gives you a healthy glow. I wear this religiously and have worn it for the last number of months, and it lasts all throughout the day, without me having to top it up, which is always a plus for me.As I've mentioned I've been wearing this pretty much everyday since January, and It doesn't seem to of made a dent in the packaging! I wouldn't even say a little goes a long way, as I've been using it a lot! It's the perfect colour as you can build it up for night, but you dust it lightly for a more natural look. For me I do love pink cheeks, but I don't feel like I'm looking like a scary doll, when I'm wearing this. Since using it, I've had tons of compliments on it, so it was definitely a good buy! Normally they retail for about €23 so a little steep, but it lasts what seems to be a lifetime for me, so a great investment buy!

London Wish List

Hey Guys!
My Wish List's always seem to be popular, so I'm making an effort to do as many as possible. It definitely won't be hard, as I pretty much find a million things to add to my wish list on a daily basis! I'm heading to London for a couple of days at the start of June. I'm saving all my shopping for then, and I couldn't be more excited. Y'all know how much I love London, and I can't wait to move over there! For shopping I tend to just stick to Oxford Street, as it's got all the High Street stores I like in one location! I know when I move there I'll probably hate it, and the constant crowds, but for now as a visitor I enjoy the hustle and bustle! I've compiled a list of everything I want from a few of my favourite stores. I wish Primark had a look book on-line, even to just  to see what's in stores, as I'm always so noisy and love seeing what they have in all the time!

Sunday Club

Hey Lovelies!
Last Sunday, as well as every Sunday I met up with some of my girls! We wanted to do something a little bit different so we went for Tapas in The Port House in Dundrum, and then off to Mini Golf. It was a lovely Sunday evening, and definitely made me forget the crappy week ahead! I was working all Sunday, so I ran home, and did a quick change. I hate wearing the same clothes all day, and I wanted to wear something a little more casual then what I wear in work. I went for a relaxed look, but still wanted to dress up a little bit. Isha brought me this lovely Jumper in New Look, last time she was over to me, and I've only worn it a couple of times, which is such a shame! I need to start wearing all my clothes more. It's a two in one jumper so you get the look of a shirt underneath it, without the bulk!
To bling up the outfit I wore my favourite necklace of the moment, and paired it with my Stella McCartney inspired bag, to tie in the neon! I love this bag, it fits literally everything but the kitchen sink in it, which is perfect for me as I carry EVERYTHING around with me. To finished off the look I wore my Topshop "Ambush" boots, and my Bowler hat. I wore a little body con skirt underneath to keep the bottom streamline. We had a blast playing Mini Golf, and I didn't cheat. I'm usually the most honest person you'll meet but when it comes to board games, I'm the biggest cheater known to man! I've also noticed my hair is darker or lighter depending on how I clip it,So I have the best of both worlds!

Cut Out Yellow Dress

Hey Lovelies,
So as I was saying the other day, I bought a going out dress in River Island on Saturday. It was a choice between the pink or the yellow, and I'm so glad I decided to venture outside my comfort zone, and go for the bright yellow. This dress is a great cut, flattering shape, and the cut out neckline, gives it an edgy look. It's still pretty nippy out, so I added a floral blazer to tone the dress down, as it's pretty bright! I wore it with black wedges and a black clutch to tie in the look together.
Dress:River Island, Blazer:Penney's/Primark, Bag:Fran&Jane

I wore the new Cocoa Brown tan "Night and Day" It's amazing! I love being dark on nights out, and the new tan gave me a really dark glow. What I love about the tan is that it goes on a lovely deep colour, but the next day you wash it off, and are left with a nice subtle tan for the next couple of days, which is such a good idea. I hate how pale and sickly I look after nights out, so when I wake up to a nice glow I feel a lot more peachy! ;) The only thing I will say about the dress is that is it quite short, but with a pair of high heels or wedges it's doesn't look as short as it is. I'm so glad I got this dress, it's so vibrant, and perfect for Summer. I can't wait to wear this on my holidays.

All the colours are sold out but they still have some left in Pink HERE :) F.Y.I I got the last one in a size 16!

Getaway Gorgeous

Hey Lovelies,
A little while ago I attended the Benefit's "Getaway Gorgeous" Event in the swanky Penthouse of the Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar. The Penthouse is absolutely beautiful, and all I need now is a rich fella to treat me to a night away! So myself and some beauty bloggers were treated to a makeup demonstration, delicious Tapas, and a sneaky peak around the Morgan Hotel. We indulged in a little too much Champagne, and had a right giggle! The Morgan Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I've been there for drinks a few times, and have always loved it. The Morgan staff were nothing short of fantastic. Extremely friendly, welcoming and informative. It's definitely a bonus when the staff are fantastic, as I've been to a number of  "nice" Hotel's and haven't been treated that great! As well as the Morgan Staff, the "Benebabes" as always were lovely and welcoming. They kept us happy with Makeup, Champagne and Tapas. They know the way to my heart, anyway!
Benefit have teamed up with The Morgan Hotel to give us girls a right treat! The "Getaway Gorgeous" experience is definitely not one to miss. For a grand total of €100 you're treated to an overnight stay in the luxurious Morgan Hotel where you'll be treated to a night full of cocktails, delicious Tapas with live Sax and Bongo players, and the Resident DJ playing into the early hours! If that hasn't already enticed you, you then have your very own Benefit master class, where the Benebabes will give you all the tips and tricks you need to give you a gorgeous new look! The next morning, after you've slept off the cocktails, you're then treated to a buffet breakfast, and no doubt have a good gossip about the night before!

Saturday Shopping

Dress,Scarf&Sunglasses:Penney's/Primark, Necklace:Fran&Jane,Wedge Trainers:Aldo

Hey Lovelies!
On Saturday I went for lunch and a bit of shopping with one of the girls. After having a yummy lunch, we headed around the shops, in search of a going out dress for me, for that night. I'd seen one in River Island, that I loved, but wasn't too sure on what colour to go for. It came in both Yellow and Pink. I've a ton of pink in my wardrobe, so after sound advice from Rach, I went for the yellow! It sounds daft, but I don't have a lot of going out dresses. I have a billion and one other dresses, and dresses but only have a handful of going out dresses. I decided I had to have another one, and treated myself! I'll post some pics tomorrow, so you'll get to see it! :)
I wanted to dress up a little, but still keep it casual, so I wore a skater dress. I don't think I'll ever grow out of them, they suit my hourglass figure and are such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe! I paired it with a plain cardigan, scarf, and wedge runners. Fran and Jane have recently gotten in some gorgeous neon accessories, including this gorgeous statement necklace, and they've called the collection "Sian" I now officially feel famous! The whole collection screams me! I'll do a little post on them next week, as you have to see how gorgeous they are :)
