Everyone that know me, knows I love a bargain. "2 for 1" I'm on it, "3 for the price of 2" been there, done that and my personal favourite getting 7 beauty products for €10.65! The other day I was lunching with a friends, and we popped into "Dealz" Ireland's Poundland. I swiftly grabbed a basket,as I was determined to get a few bargains. I'm off to Plus North for the weekend, so I'm scrimping and saving, so this months beauty allowance is a lot less that it normally is. The 7 items I purchased came in at €1.49 each. I was expecting it to come to about €16 as I wasn't really keeping track, but I was delighted when my total was added up! I think it's imperative in this day and age to be money conscious, and I've delighted Dealz has opened two locations near me.
Herbal Essences "Bee Strong" Shampoo for Damaged Hair
Specifically for Damaged hair, I was excited to give it a go! It smells absolutely divine with "Honey & Apricot extract" Normally I'm not a huge fan of Honey scented items, maybe it's because I can't stand the taste? But this shampoo smells gorgeous, and I'm gutted I didn't have this in time for my holidays, as it's a really summer, fruity scent. The shampoo has left my hair extremely shiny, and looking a lot healthier than it had looked previously. Definitely a winner here.
Mellor&Russel Miracle Moisture "Hair Repair Mask"
As I've mentioned my hair can be quite dry, especially since I've got balayage in my hair last May. Don't get my wrong, I love the hair but the bleach in it, has really taken it's toll. I've read quite a few reviews from UK bloggers on this Hair mask, and they've all been nothing but positive. I hate the packaging, however after trying it, it was amazing! My hair felt super smooth, and quite nourished. I can definitely allow for their packaging and will 100% be repurchasing this.
Sally Hanson "Complete Salon Manicure" in #204 and #213
Both of these colours are both neutral colours, and very wearable. I love the taupy nude for everyday wear, for a nail colour that looks classic and effortless. The gorgeous peach toned one, is gorgeous too, and would look lovely with a nice tan (Fake one, now that mine has sadly faded!) They are fantastic quality, and I'm chuffed to of nabbed these babies for so cheap.
Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair "Liquid Silk Conditioner"
The conditioner is specifically for "Brittle, Dull Hair" which pretty much describes by hair at the moment. On first inspection it smells a bit funny, but not necessarily in a bad way. After using this once, or twice I like it. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It was good value for money, and my hair was left feeling softer. Saying that, I wouldn't repurchase it.
Derma Vio "Rescue Oil"
A great dupe for Bio Oil. It's great for combating the 'ol stretchmarks, and with at least a €5 price difference, it's almost identical to Bio Oil. I either pour a little bit of it, into my bath or apply directly onto my "problem area's" This is extremely moisturising, and I've bought this countless times. It's definitely one of my cult bathroom products. I find that the little bottle lasts around 3-4 months, as I only use a little bit of it at a time!
Radox "Soft Care, Bath Cream with Milk"
Now I'm going to be honest, I didn't expect this to smell as nice as it does. I didn't expect it to smells as fruity as it does. It smells quite tropical, without being overbearing. I've used this after a long day in work, when I wanted nothing more than a bit of TLC. I slapped on a face mask, and jumped into a bath, and instantly felt relaxed. The bubbles last for ages, and my skin was left smelling divine after it!
